Agenda

ACM International Conference on the role of Humanities in the Promotion of Human Rights

Of interest

  • Date: 30 April, 2014

This conference will focus on the debate on the relevance of Humanities at a time when financial crisis and other aspects of politics and economy sometimes help to promote a lifestyle in which human rights and gender equality are at risk. This research workshop will focus on debate and critical thinking to explore new more ethical ways to approach what institutional discourse and the media often fail to address. Proposals seek to include any aspect related to this general topic and analyse the role that artists, scholars, lecturers and other groups play in achieving a more dignified representation of today’s world.
