Brief description
The Bankia Chair of Financial and Fiscal Studies was created in April 2006 with the aim of carrying out research and training activities in the financial and fiscal areas, as well as provide solutions to the problems in this field faced by society and the business community.
The Chair has three general objectives for its activities:
Serve as the meeting point between companies, institutions and professionals to reflect on the existing financial and fiscal systems and search for alternatives which can be presented to the central and Autonomous Community administrations.
Research topics to propose solutions to concrete problems.
Develop transferal and educational activities.
Similarly, the Chair also tries to evaluate the impact of administrative decisions in the financial field applying criteria such as transparency, justice and equity which is, without doubt, the aim of the tax system.
