Brief description
The primary objective of this Chair is to contribute to the illumination of moral problems stemming from the spectacular advances made in biomedical sciences, as well as ecological responsibility, the distribution of resources and the right to healthcare.
Its activity consists of three main pillars: research, teaching and publications. In addition, it also holds the university library’s collection of texts dedicated to bioethics and maintains contact with other Spanish and foreign institutions and centres.
