Brief description
The objectives of this Chair are to:
Study and reflect on the situation amongst children and adolescents in Spain and the world, thus contributing to the implementation of the rights recognised by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Serve as the meeting point between the different social agents involved in protection and reform systems for minors, favouring the debate between specialists and the exchange of ideas between society and the university
Carry out research which translates theoretical reflection into the development and transferal of viable alternative proposals in those protection and reform systems. In this respect, a key objective is to promote the development of good practices.
Communication and awareness-raising activities for society to increase the respect for the rights of children and adolescents.
Collaborate in training legal experts in topics related to children and adolescents.
