The Third Inter-University Meetings on Education Innovation will be held within the framework of the joint project Campus of International Excellence “Aristos Campus Mundus“ in which our three universities take part. These meetings, entitled “University education in the digital era”, will take place at the Pontifical University of Comillas, Alberto Aguilera campus (Madrid), next Wednesday 8 July. This new initiative strengthens the line of action we undertook during the innovation meetings that were previously held in Barcelona and Bilbao. The new results confirm our commitment to hold joint activities in benefit of our university communities.

As in previous events, these meetings aim to be a shared space for thinking on Education Innovation. In this case they will not only focus on the use of information and communication technologies in the teaching-learning process and discussion on the advisability and timeliness of including new teaching models based on online or blended learning. A number of workshops will be organised to boost the teaching staff’s digital competences, although these sessions will be brief due to time restrictions. Moreover, the main conclusions of the survey conducted among lecturers and students of the three Universities during the months of March and April will be made public. The survey aimed to gather information on their use of these technologies and their understanding of blended teaching methods.
