Brief description
Universidad Pontificia Comillas’ University Spirituality Institute (IUE) aims to contribute to the education of people integrated in the Spirit and capable of serving as guides and encouraging other people and communities in response to humanity’s aspirations in today’s world and the calling of the Church. IUE thus strives to contribute from a multidisciplinary approach to clarify and solve human problems, formulating the Christian message (General Statutes, Articles 5.1 and 5.2). Within the Spirituality Theology framework, IUE’s activities aims to serve as a bridge between theological research and the believer’s life. Beyond pure speculation, it wants to become a living cell of reflection on the Christian experience in terms of its foundations and historical expressions, always bearing in mind reality as the starting point for reflection in order to play a unifying role for all human beings.
