Aristos Campus Mundus provides grants to 4 applications for the Visiting Scholar Program call

15 November, 2016

Aristos Campus Mundus has provided grants to 4 applications for the Visiting Scholar Program call, which was opened last April and is still open.

The call, with a total budget of 75,000 euros, seeks to promote collaboration between the teaching and research staff at Boston College, Georgetown University or Fordham University and ACM recognised research groups, encouraging short and long-term stays (up to one academic year).

Four grants with a total budget of 20,830 euros have been awarded so far. You can see the resolutions of ACM’s Scientific Committee below:

•             Resolution ACM/R4/2016

•             Resolution ACM/R6/2016

In this way, there is still funding available so that ACM recognised research groups that are collaborating at a national level and those joint academic programmes run by ACM universities can benefit from these grants.

On the other hand, the projects to which these grants are awarded should be framed within one of the following ACM’s Specialist or Focus Areas:

•             Social innovation and social change

•             Management and social responsibility.

•             Education: innovation, competences and values

•             Health and Biosciences

•             Energy and Sustainability

The call will be open for two years, or until the funds available are exhausted. Also, applications must be submitted electronically and a confirmation email that your application has been submitted should be sent to ACM’s Secretariat (convocatorias@aristoscampusmundus.net).
