Results of the Good Practices Awards for University Cooperation for Development and Ignacio Ellacuría Awards for Aristos Campus Mundus Social Interest Studies 2015

The judging panel of the Good Practices Award for University Cooperation for Development and the Ignacio Ellacuría Award for Social Interest Studies ended the assessment of entries and deliberations two weeks ago. 

 

Good Practices Award for University Development Cooperation 

On 06 July, the jury met, formed by the following:

  • Chairman: Mr. Tomàs Andrés Blanch (URL)
  • Secretary: Mr. Miguel Angel Navarro (ALBOAN on behalf of  UD)
  • Ms Rebeca Carpi (ESADE-URL)
  • Ms Nita La Spina (Pedro Arrupe Institute of Human Rights, UD)
  • Dr. María José Castaño Reyero (University Institute of Migration Studies) 
  • Mr. Ricardo Navas Hernández (ICAI Engineers Foundation for Development)

 

Decision:

On 6 July 2016, the members of the judging panel of the Good Practices Award for University Development Cooperation decided to award the following prizes by category.

 

Undergraduate Projects:

  • First Prize: “Contribución de Corea del Sur al cumplimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio en América Latina”. Author: Alba Chico Rizaldos. Comillas Pontifical University. Faculty of Human and Social Sciences
  • Mention: “¿Es necesario educar en diversidad funcional a los alumnos de grado en enfermería?” Author: Lilián Fernández Almendro. Comillas Pontifical University. San Juan de Dios School of Nursing and Physiotherapy.

 

Postgraduate projects:

  • First Prize: “Discapacidad en situaciones de refugio: sistema sanitario y atención a las personas con necesidades especiales en los campamentos de refugiados saharauis de Tinduf” Autora: Belén García Villoria. Comillas Pontifical University. University Institute of Migration Studies.
  • Mention: “Portable and low-cost quantitative pathogen detection device”. Author: Blanca Leticia Fernández Carballo. Ramon Llull University Sarriá Chemical Institute.

 

Ignacio Ellacuría Award for Social Interest Studies  

On 6 and 15 July the judging panel met composed by the following:

Decision:

On 6 and 15 July 2016, the members of the judging panel of the Ignacio Ellacuría Award met and decided to award the following prizes by category:
